Why consume all that sugar in sweetened yogurt when you can make your own just-as-delicious treat with fewer calories?

- 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt (regular or Greek)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup ice
- In a blender, combine yogurt, applesauce, vanilla, cinnamon and ice. Blend on high for one minute or until the desired consistency is reached. Serve cold.
Per serving: 232 calories, 12 g protein, 32 g carbohydrates, 4 g total fat (2 g saturated fat), 14 mg cholesterol, 2 g fibre, 162 mg sodium.
