In Full Bloom
A lush watercolour floral print transforms the sporty bomber with heart-stopping effect. For fall 2017 jackets, we appreciate an effortless team mate to high waist straight leg jeans, obvi, wearing it over a flowing midi length hemline. Add a contrasting print to the picture for bonus points.

What’s Up, Buttercup?
Buh bye, beige! A sunny shade breathes fresh air into the wardrobe staple that is la trench. And, oui, those ruffled cuffs bring something flirty to the table, too. The cheery hue is well positioned to lift a neutral #ootd, put it to work with something like a white shirt and navy wide-leg trousers.

Out of all the fall 2017 jackets I saw, this one delivers major cool-girl vibes via a slouchy shape. It took serious deliberation to decide to spotlight this in-betweeny colour. But trust when I say this neutral velvet find will go.with.everthing. The two other shades are no less luscious, so there’s that. Happy choosing!

Crafted from a sheen-focused textile with an ornate motif with traditional Asian-inspired tailoring, this jacket comes across as the score of the season from a high-end vintage boutique. Don’t worry, we’ll never tell.

A beauty in dove grey, any double-breasted blazer puts the action up top which makes it a smart choice for someone with a small chest or who wants to balance the appearance of curvy hips and thighs. These simple gold buttons deserve special mention: not every adornment can provide a contrast that looks so fresh without being scene-stealing.
